The Oakton Educational Foundation also hosts the Veterans' Education Fund to supplement resources available to the Student Affairs team in providing programming for and serving the needs of student veterans at Oakton.

Oakton also offers a class for students who need assistance is managing college level courses. The College Success Course can extend college success skills and strategies from the beginning of the college experience.

Oakton also provides resources to help with imminent student needs. The Oakton Caring Closet is a space where Oakton students can access nonperishable food and self-care items, such as soap and deodorant, at no cost to support their success in college. Oakton’s Wellness Center care coordinator will provide resources and connections for students who express greater needs.

The Road Home
