Veterans in the Classroom

Members of Post 7186, all of whom have served their nation in combat operations overseas, will visit schools to present programs such as:

  • The meaning of Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and similar events.

  • History of the U.S. Flag

  • The Story of the Pledge of Allegiance

The Post will also assist the schools in presenting student awards which are related to achievements related to good citizenship.
